First Holy Communion

The 2019 First Holy Communion learning programme in progress.  The times and dates of all the sessions can be seen here.

Congratulations to the twenty two children who celebrated First Communion on Saturday 22nd June, 2019.  We welcomed them to Mass for the Feast of Corpus Christi where, as a parish family, we had opportunity to Celebrate our faith in the presence of Christ in the great gift of the Eucharist.

Do keep the children in your prayers as well as praying for their families. May this encounter with Christ enable them to know he is with them in all they do.

We pray for: Livvy, Nikola, Ksawery, Ruby, Florence, Primrose, Emily, Zuzanna, Adam, Martin, Tilly, Emilie, Rickie, Jasper, Chelsea, Maja, Florence, Scarlett, Clementine, Beatrix, Noah and Lily. May God bless them now and always.

Thank you to all those who made the weekend’s First Communion celebration such a beautiful one. We have a terrific team of catechists who looked after the children and their parents session by session, those who looked after the music for the weekend and those who helped to make guests and families so welcome. The celebration on Sunday was followed by a wonderful celebration in the hall and that’s down to the hard work of those wonderful individuals who pulled together to make a feast fit for those 22 youngsters.
